Hi, I’m Avalon.
I’m a personal trainer, a creative, an introvert, a lover of movement, nature, travel, and quiet moments that make life feel full. I help people build healthier lives — not by chasing perfection, but by learning how to show up consistently in a way that actually feels sustainable.
I created Raising the Bar because I believe health is more than workouts and meal plans.
Health is mental. It’s emotional. It’s the way you move through your life, not just the way you move your body. It’s hiking and snowboarding and walking without a destination. It’s therapy sessions, mindset shifts, client wins, setbacks, and learning how to start again without burning out.
This space is where I share all of that.
Sometimes I’ll write about training and consistency. Sometimes about travel and the grounding power of nature. Sometimes about mental health, personal growth, and the messy middle most people skip over online. And sometimes about my clients — their wins, their struggles, and the small moments that deserve to be celebrated.
You’ll also probably hear about my cat. Fair warning.
